About Dr. Fry & the practice

What makes Inspire Health and Wellness different from other chiropractors?

Dr. Fry takes a brain-first approach to care. Rather than simply treating where it hurts, he identifies and addresses the neurological imbalances and nerve interference that prevent the body from healing — and holding its results — long term. He also integrates a unique combination of services including QNRT, brain balancing chiropractic, functional medicine, and nutritional kinesiology that most chiropractic offices simply don't offer. Many of our patients come to us after trying multiple other providers without lasting results. Finding answers for those patients is what our practice is built around.

---

Do you accept insurance?

We bill insurance directly for traditional chiropractic services. However, coverage varies by plan and we cannot guarantee what your insurance will cover. We encourage you to verify your chiropractic benefits before your visit. Many of our specialty services — including QNRT, brain balancing, functional medicine, nutritional kinesiology, and spinal decompression — are not covered by insurance. These services fall outside the traditional "sick care" model that most insurance plans are designed around. Our integrative, root-cause approach to health simply goes beyond what insurance is built to reimburse. We will always be transparent about costs before any treatment begins. If you have questions about fees, please call or text us before your visit.

---

How do I know if I'm a good candidate for your care?

The best way to find out is to book a new patient consultation. Dr. Fry's promise to every new patient is simple — he will take the time to truly understand your situation and be completely honest about whether he can help you. If he can, he'll tell you exactly how. If he can't, he'll do everything in his power to point you in the right direction. You will never waste your time or money here.

About the approach

What does "brain-first" chiropractic mean?

The brain controls everything in the body — every function, every signal, every healing response. When there are imbalances in how the brain is communicating with the body, the body simply cannot heal or maintain results the way it should. A brain-first approach means we identify and address those neurological imbalances before or alongside structural treatment. This is often the missing piece for patients who feel better temporarily but can never seem to stay better.

---

Can chiropractic help with anxiety and depression?

Yes — and this surprises many patients. Anxiety and depression often have a significant neurological component that goes unaddressed by medication and therapy alone. Unresolved stress and trauma stored in the nervous system can keep the brain locked in patterns of anxiety or depression regardless of how hard a patient works to manage their symptoms. Dr. Fry uses QNRT and brain balancing chiropractic to address these neurological patterns directly, and many patients experience meaningful improvement in their mental and emotional wellbeing as a result.

---

What is QNRT and who is it for?

QNRT stands for Quantum Neuro Reset Therapy. It is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that addresses how unresolved stress and trauma are stored in the nervous system — and how those patterns contribute to chronic physical and emotional symptoms. It is particularly effective for patients with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, autoimmune conditions, and symptoms that haven't responded to other treatments. Dr. Fry is one of a limited number of QNRT practitioners in the region.

---

What is the difference between traditional and gentle chiropractic?

Traditional chiropractic uses hands-on spinal manipulation that may involve the popping or cracking sound most people associate with chiropractic adjustments. Gentle chiropractic uses low-force, instrument-assisted techniques that achieve the same results without any cracking or popping — making it an excellent option for patients who are nervous about traditional chiropractic, seniors, those with osteoporosis, or anyone who simply prefers a gentler approach. Dr. Fry offers both, and will always work with your comfort level.

---

Is spinal decompression safe?

Yes. Non-surgical spinal decompression using the Triton DTS is a FDA-cleared, well-researched therapy with an excellent safety record. It is non-invasive, requires no anesthesia, and involves no downtime. Most patients find it comfortable and even relaxing. Dr. Fry will evaluate your specific condition before recommending decompression to ensure it is appropriate for you.

About the process

What happens at my first visit?

Your first visit begins with a real conversation. Dr. Fry will take time to hear your full health history — what's been going on, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to feel like again. From there he will conduct a thorough evaluation and walk you through exactly what he finds and what he recommends. New patients should plan to arrive at least 5 minutes early and complete their intake forms online through the patient portal at least 24 hours before their appointment.

---

How long does treatment take?

Treatment length varies depending on your condition, health history, and how your body responds. Dr. Fry will give you a clear picture of what to expect at your first visit. Most patients begin noticing improvement within the first few visits, with more significant and lasting results developing over the course of a care plan.

---

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. You can book directly online through our patient portal or call us at (618) 252-5252.

---

Can I book online?

Yes! You can book your appointment online anytime through our patient portal. Visit our New Patient page to choose the right appointment type and get started.

For complex & chronic patients

I've tried everything and nothing has worked — can you still help me?

Possibly — and we'd like to find out. Many of our patients come to us after years of searching and multiple providers without lasting results. Dr. Fry's approach is specifically designed for complex and chronic cases. He will be honest with you about what he finds and whether he believes he can help. If he doesn't think he can, he won't waste your time — but in our experience, patients who feel like they've tried everything often haven't yet addressed the neurological root of their condition. That's where we start.

---

I've had surgery — can I still receive chiropractic care?

In many cases, yes. Dr. Fry will review your surgical history and current condition before making any recommendations. Gentle chiropractic techniques and spinal decompression can often be used safely for patients who have had previous spinal surgery, though each case is evaluated individually.

---

Do you treat children and seniors?

Yes. Dr. Fry works with patients of all ages. Gentle chiropractic techniques are particularly well suited for seniors and younger patients, and QNRT and nutritional kinesiology are appropriate for virtually any age group. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual patient.

Client Testimonials

I have fibromyalgia and had given up hope for any kind of normal life. Was cynical but gave Dr. Fry a chance. What did I have to lose? As it turns out, a lot of pain. I no longer am captive of a chair, I can move and I can't think him and God enough!

Marilyn S.

Overall back pain and Fibromyalgia

I'm 43 year of age. I've been dealing with fibromyalgia and neck pain/headaches so intense I couldn't even deal with it. I spent a lot of wasted time and money on doctors: from Mayo clinic to family doctors. NO RESULTS! Dr. Fry has put my pain under control.
